Software Engineer 2 Annapolis Junction, MD

Overview We require a developer for a high priority and highly visible malware analysis modernization program. The individual will work with a team of dynamic and innovative engineers to develop new capabilities supporting the virtual malware containment enclave and also support the modernization of malware enrichment services.
Required Skills/Experience Experience developing containerized applications (Kubernetes/Docker)
Ability to develop high-quality, efficient, and testable code
Ability to debug complex, system-wide issues
Java application (no front end necessary), REST
Ability to multitask and pivot to different tasks quickly
Experience with Atlassian tools, Git
Experience with IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE
Qualifications Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
