Job Description
Performance Contracting Group (PCG) is a national specialty contractor providing services to commercial, industrial and non‑residential construction markets. Safety and inclusivity are core to our culture. We value training and skill development.

Skilled Trades

Abatement Worker – removal of hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead‑containing materials, and mold.

Carpenter – construction, installation, maintenance and repair of wooden structures and fixtures.

Fireproofer – application of fireproofing materials on new and existing commercial sites.

Helper / Laborer / Trainee / Utility – preparing work area, transporting tools, unloading materials, removing debris.

Painter – setting up paint pot, using air‑assisted and airless systems, mixing industrial coatings.

Plasterer – mixing/advancing plastering/EIFS materials, measuring, cutting, installing substrate and finishes.

Iron Worker – construction, fabrication, installation of structural steel and iron components.

Millwright – installation, maintenance, repair of industrial machinery.

Operator – operating and maintaining heavy equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, excavators.

Plumbing / Piping – installing, repairing, maintaining plumbing systems and piping networks.

Glazier – installation, repair, replacement of glass.

Boilermaker – construction, assembly, repair of boilers and pressure vessels.

Electrical Workers – installing, repairing, maintaining electrical systems.

Roofer – installation, repair, maintenance of roofs.

Sheet Metal – cutting, shaping, installing sheet metal for ducts, roofs, HVAC.

Teamster – operating and driving trucks or heavy vehicles for logistics and freight.

Requirements

Active member of the union in good standing (in non‑right to work states)

Ability to perform basic math

May include supervisory responsibilities

Minimum age of 18 years

On‑the‑job training offered

Prolonged standing and working outside

Physically able to perform assigned tasks

Ability to lift 40 pounds at a time
