Associate Photographer – Tacoma, WA Overview CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP) is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. Role Associate Photographers are responsible for collecting media for Homes.com and Apartments.com, including virtual tours, floorplans, and photography for residential properties. Each photographer serves a core territory and works closely with clients, sales associates, logistics, and the management team. Photography teams are managed remotely by a Photography Manager in local markets.
Responsibilities Capture high-quality 3-D virtual tours and footprints using Matterport Pro3 cameras.
Create a portfolio of photographs that best showcase homes and apartments.
Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners, and management to evaluate priorities and tasks.
When not photographing residential homes, navigate one-mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real‑estate data coverage, identifying new inventory, missing availability, and properties to photograph.
Adhere to CoStar safety standards for company vehicles and equipment.
Represent the company professionally at all times.
Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
Physical Requirements Repetitive sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day.
Lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds.
Use a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment, requiring repetitive hand and arm movements.
Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying.
Work and drive outside in all seasons.
Work weekends on a rotating schedule.
Qualifications At least two years of professional photography experience.
Real estate photography experience required.
Professional photography background or a recent degree in photography.
High school diploma or GED.
Strong customer-service experience with a client-first mindset.
Drone photographer with FAA Part107 license, obtained within 30 days of offer.
Strong time-management skills and a detail-oriented approach.
Accurate data capture and entry capabilities.
Excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office, and internet applications; familiarity with Apple iOS products preferred.
Independent work ability in a fast-paced environment.
Field experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Compensation Hourly position with base pay equivalent to $49,000–$50,000 annually, plus monthly performance-based bonuses. The hourly wage is based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits package.
