Senior Web Developer

3 openings, 2 senior, 1 junior role. 3 months remote then onsite hybrid in Fort Washington, PA.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Perform technical tasks related to development life cycles; including database design, objected-oriented design, and java coding.
The Senior Web Developer will also be required to perform code and QA reviews and develop technical documentation based on industry standards.
Develop high level technical design for defined tasks
Analyze requirements and define technical designs, including class objects and process flows as required.
Develop prototype classes and other base class objects
Lead the team in the maintenance of requirements and technical documentation
Mentor other developers
Maintain knowledge and improve team wide knowledge sharing
Participate in requirements reviews with business stakeholders, providing appropriate feedback and guidance
Work with Tech Leads in the development of timelines and milestones
Introduce processes and procedures for the improvement of quality of the application and efficiency of the department
Job Qualifications:

University degree or college diploma in the field of Computer technology
4-8 years’ work experience in an object-oriented development environment
PHP(4-7+years), Laravel Framework (3+ years preferred), Javascript, (Vue JS Experience is a plus), knowledge of design patterns and best practices.
Strong design and implementation skills
MySQL or Relational Database / SQL
Operating systems experience with Linux (ubuntu/red hat, etc. a plus), Bash Scripting (a plus)
Proven working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including PHP, Apache, Laravel
Technically competent with various software IDEs such as PHP Storm, VS Code
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
Is flexible and can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating, with a strong work ethic
Written and oral communication skills
Interpersonal skills
