Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Communications Specialist 5 in Redmond, WA. The role reduces friction and increases execution velocity across the organization.
Serve as a trusted partner to marketing leadership, supporting planning, prioritization, and execution across key initiatives
Drive Rhythm of Business (RoB), including leadership team meetings, agendas, follow‑ups, and action tracking
Partner across Product Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Field to ensure alignment and forward momentum
Step in to advance work independently (e.g., synthesize rough inputs, create first drafts, unblock teams, and drive next steps)
Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies, and proactively bring solutions
Act as a trusted advisor driving strategy, operations, and execution alignment across the organization
Internal & External Communications
Lead and execute internal communications strategy to drive awareness and adoption of key initiatives
Create and manage internal narratives across channels (emails, updates, leadership communications, field alerts)
Draft social posts, blogs, and executive‑ready messaging for external audiences
Ensure alignment with approved messaging frameworks and tone
Build and maintain an editorial cadence aligned with business priorities
Serve as executive communications mentor, managing storytelling and editorial calendars across channels
Operational Excellence & Budget Support
Manage and track marketing budgets, including spend visibility and coordination with finance partners
Support execution of planning cycles, including quarterly priorities and tracking against goals
Ensure adherence to team processes, governance, and compliance requirements
Requirements
5–8+ years of experience in business management, marketing operations, communications, or consulting
Proven ability to operate as a peer to senior stakeholders and influence without authority
Strong written and verbal communication skills (executive‑ready)
Experience managing cross‑functional initiatives in a fast‑paced environment
High ownership mindset with ability to drive ambiguous work to completion
Preferred Skills
Experience in enterprise technology or cloud marketing
Background in executive communications or storytelling
Familiarity with Microsoft marketing rhythms (RoB, field alignment, launch planning)

Pay & Benefits
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
