Creative Director, Motion Design

To establish a cohesive motion design language, the full-time salaried Creative Director, Motion Design will develop motion principles, drive product and brand cohesion, and lead high-craft execution while collaborating across Microsoft.
Key responsibilities

Develop and evolve MAI's motion design language and establish reusable motion primitives
Lead motion direction to translate product capabilities into expressive interactions and reinforce narrative coherence
Direct the creation of high-fidelity motion across various systems and oversee the development of motion prototypes

Required qualifications

Master's Degree in a relevant field and 7+ years of experience in product or service design, or Bachelor's Degree with 9+ years of experience
5+ years of people management experience
Proven experience in building motion systems at scale
A portfolio showcasing product motion, identity systems, and storytelling
Experience with AI-driven or agent-based experiences is preferred
