Position
As a Media Relations manager youwill be responsible for cultivating relationships with outlets, pitching stories, and crafting compelling narratives to promote our clients’ objectives. You will collaborate with our partners and subject matter experts to develop and execute media strategies across various platforms, including press releases, op-eds, interviews, and social media.
This role is hybrid
4 days in the office - 1 day remote
Responsibilities
- Provide media relations counsel to account team members and clients
- Strategize and execute media relations portion of programs
- Interpret client needs into actionable, achievable media programs
- Develop and execute media relations strategies to secure positive coverage and visibility our clients
- Manage media inquiries and act as the primary point of contact for all media-related communications including Broadcast, Digital and Podcasts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media influencers to effectively communicate our key messages
- Craft compelling press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials that resonate with target audiences
- Monitor media coverage and analyze trends to inform strategic adjustments and identify opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging and ensure cohesive communication across all channels
Qualifications
- 4+ years of PR agency experience
- Established network of media relationships with key journalists and industry influencers
- Must have broadcast experience
- Proven ability to create media plans from concept and follow through to placement
- Ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional communications programs and delivering on set targets

To comply with equal pay and salary transparency laws in various locations, the Company believes the target range of base compensation for this role is $110K - 130K.
