Precipart, located in Farmingdale, NY, is seeking a Director of Key Accounts to be the driving force behind our most important customer relationships primarily in the aerospace industry. As the Director of Key Accounts, you will maintain overall accountability to develop and manage key customer relationships, develop account specific strategies, translate strategy into action plans, and deliver business growth.This role involves leading cross-functional teams to serve short and long-term customer needs having ultimate responsibility for financial performance of assigned accounts. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop and maintain exceptional relationships with existing customers and strategic partners, domestically and internationally.
Create strategies to expand sales and foster growth with assigned global accounts.
Proactively work with assigned Business Development team members to manage global customers via a regional canvassing approach.
Deliver on annual sales plan for assigned accounts and related KPIs.
Align internal capabilities with customer and market demands, working with program management, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and other teams.
Focus on customer relationship management to deliver increased share of wallet for served categories and expansion into account white space.
Ensure customer business is served in compliance with regulatory requirements and addressing any concerns to maintain high confidence in the brand.
Manage health sales pipeline day-to-day as well as quarterly and annual attainment of account targets
Provide quarterly, annual and long-term forecasts in accordance with the financial planning cadence.
Identify Key Performance Indicators in collaboration with management that will be assessed for achievement.
Provide Technical Support as needed, including training of team members.
Work with Customer Accounts to manage weekly/monthly sales plans.
Support Marketing efforts by writing articles and research papers to be included in Sales Documentation and/or by conducting research through various sources.
Travel as necessary to visit customers to enhance and further solidify the customer relationship.
Responsible for conforming with the company’s quality management system requirements, as well as contributing to its overall effectiveness, and the ultimate goals of customer satisfaction, product compliance and ethical practices/behavior.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Personnel needs identification, hiring and termination recommendations, leadership, coaching/training, performance management, task assignment, policy dissemination, disciplinary action/documentation to personnel files, job description updates, etc.
Establish department goals, plan and achieve department activities & objectives, analyze variances-initiate corrective actions, problem resolution, propose/support/implement new & improved approaches/methods, etc.

MENTORING RESPONSIBILITIES

Guide / Coach key department staff to promote development for the purpose of individual’s personal growth, improved decision making and potential succession planning identification in support of company objectives and group goals.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or scientific field with a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience or,
10 years relevant work experience in relevant functions within a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO)
Must be able to read and understand blueprints
Strong negotiation, problem solving, analytical, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate, verbally and written, effectively with team members and cross-functionally
Exceptional presentation skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks
Solid team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments
Ability to effectively deal with and adapt to culturally diverse situations
Proficiency in MS Office; ability to learn other computer programs
Travel: 25% as required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / EDUCATION

Experience in Life Sciences/Medical Device field preferred

Pay Range:$160,000 to $170,000 annual salary
The compensation for this role will be determined through our assessment process, taking into account your qualifications.
