Kubik Maltbie is looking for an individual who is ready for a new path, or start, in their career beginning in our audiovisual department focused on the worlds of museums, corporate lobby environments, and themed entertainment. This position requires a wide base of knowledge within the AV field in which you will be acting in three main capacities:Role Description: Designer/Engineer: providing technical solutions in a range of environments from simple standalone visual displays to challenging blue sky designsConsultant/Client Representative: guiding our clients or representing their interest in the best possible solution that meets the project's schedule, scope, and budgetCommissioner/Project Coordination: oversee the execution of AV system integrationQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management or equivalent experience.Two years of experience as an AV Site Supervisor or six years of experience as an AV Installation TechnicianFive years of professional experience in the audiovisual industryValid Driver's License and PassportWork AuthorizationPreferred Qualifications: Certified Technology Specialist – Installation (CTS-I), AVIXARole Requirements: Design and engineer AV systemsTest and commission AV systemsDevelop AV system scope of work (SOW)Support Project Managers with AV portion of projectsUtilize web-based company specific software for project operations (training provided)Utilize Microsoft OS and Office 365 applications, intermediate skillUtilize AutoCAD application for creation of wiring diagrams, rack elevations, connection details, and annotation of floor plans and reflected ceiling plans, basic skillProgram audio Digital Signal Processors (DSP), intermediate skillTravel, 25-35% (Role can be local or remote, remote employees may have additional travel requirements for project tasks)Critical Performance Skills: You will be working with a small, specialized team in which all members are valued and supported.
