Lead Production TechnicianLocation: OxfordSalary: £35,000 Monday – FridayAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Production Technician to join a cutting‑edge technology manufacturing environment within a global engineering business. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will oversee a small production team while remaining actively involved in the assembly, testing, and fault diagnosis of complex electro‑mechanical products. You will take ownership of manufacturing order progression, ensuring products are built, tested, and delivered to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise a team of electro‑mechanical assemblersAssign and coordinate workloads to meet production targetsConvert production plans into manufacturing orders with planning teamsAssemble, test, and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical systems using technical documentationDiagnose faults down to component level and manage repair/replacementOversee kitting and stock movement using ERP systems (NetSuite)Liaise with engineering and test teams to ensure smooth production flowSupport stock control activities including stock takes and organisationManage and progress returned units (RMA process)Contribute to product and process improvements through feedback to engineeringWhat We're Looking ForExperience leading or supervising a production or technical teamStrong background in electro‑mechanical assembly and fault findingExperience using ERP systems (NetSuite desirable)Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlinesStrong attention to detail and problem‑solving skillsOrganised, proactive, and team‑focused approachClear communication skills, both written and verbalIf you feel you have the skillset we are looking for then please apply directly or call 01189598078.#J-18808-Ljbffr
