Part Time Choir Accompanist

The Choir Accompanist provides piano accompanying support for the assigned choirs and musical groups. Supports the Choir Director in all aspects of choral performance as directed. Duties & Responsibilities - Accompany all Chorus rehearsals - Provide piano accompaniment for all classroom rehearsals - Attends and provides accompanying for dress and tech rehearsals - Accompanies sectionals as needed. Runs sectionals as needed - May provide accompaniment for auditions - Prepare recording of rehearsal C - Ds as requested - Accompany Chorus and student performances at various choir-related events - Meetings and communication - Provide other assistance as requested and agreed upon Qualifications, Competencies & Strengths Education: A Bachelor's degree in music with an emphasis in piano is preferred Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a working as a piano accompanist in an academic setting is preferred...Part Time, Administrative, Education
