Teachers demonstrate the value of lifelong learning and encourage their students to learn and grow by: Building leadership among the staff and with the administration in order to bring about consensus and common shared ownership of the vision and purpose of work of the school. Making the content they teach engaging, relevant, and meaningful to students' lives by aligning their instruction with the common core, essential standards, and 21st-century content which includes: global awareness, financial, economic, business, entrepreneurial literacy, civic literacy, and health awareness.
