Direct Ensembles: Lead daily rehearsals for multiple choral groups (Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced) across grades 6-12. Instruction: Teach vocal technique, breath support, diction, and part-singing. Music Literacy: Deliver a structured curriculum in music theory and sight-reading (consistent with NC Essential Standards for Music). Performance: Plan and execute school concerts and coordinate performances for school and community events. Provides a positive environment in which students are encouraged to be actively engaged in the learning process. Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, and other professionals on a regular basis. Collaborates with peers to enhance the instructional environment. Models professional and ethical standards when dealing with students, parents, peers, and community.
