S/he will utilize deep understanding of the business, customers, and drivers of performance to set and execute product strategy, monitor product performance, and influence bidding strategy.Analyzes competitive landscape, market dynamics and bid history in support of strategyOversee product line P&Ls and manage each for growth, identifying opportunities to grow while managing costs effectively.Evaluates strategic packaging options for product portfolioRecommend and coordinate any product discontinuationsStrategically position and target customers in collaboration with Sales, Supply & Commercial OperationsApprove pricing on incoming bids in accordance to the pricing approval matrixPresents bid analysis to senior management for appropriate approvalMonitor sales and contract complianceCollaborate with Demand Planning to ensure adequate product supply; safety stock, back orders, allocation etc.Own forecast assumptions for Finance to support quarterly Integrated Business Planning (IBP)Develop assumptions logicAssists on reporting of product performance drivers and trendsProvides relevant product risks and opportunity updatesPrepares product related presentations as needed for Executive Management, Sales, Customers and PartnersLeads competitive intel market assessmentsLead presentations to Senior Leadership and External CustomersLead negotiations and presentations with CMO Partners and VendorsDevelops business visualizations and insights from various primary/secondary data sources driving actionLeads ad‑hoc analysis and projectsManages projects as required for the departmentResponsible to ensure compliance of team members with the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.Leads with a global mindset that respects all cultural dimensions.Performs all work in accordance with our Code of Conduct and Business Ethics, and all established regulatory, compliance and safety requirements.Delivers all work in support of our Values of Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.All other duties as assigned.Job RequirementsBachelor's Degree required either in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or a similar degreeAdvanced Degree (MBA, MS etc.) preferredMinimum 7-10 years of experience in the U.S. generic pharmaceutical industry; or similar/comparable industry experienceData analysis experience and an advanced MS Excel user is a mustExperience with pivot tables and advanced complex formulasPower Query a plusStrong and proven quantitative, qualitative, analytical reasoning and communication skillsDemonstrate strategic thinking ability & able to analyze & visualize data effectivelyForecasting and financial modeling knowledge experienceStrong multi‑tasking and time management capabilityExcellent presentation skills, must be comfortable leading a presentationAbility to travel (approximately 10-20% travel)At Apotex, we are committed to fostering a welcoming and accessible work environment, where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported to succeed.We offer accommodation for applicants with disabilities as part of its recruitment process.
