Production/Sound Engineer and DJPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Production/Sound Engineer and DJ to manage all technical and production aspects of events at our indoor and outdoor venue stages. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with event coordination responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Technical OperationsOperate and maintain all production equipment and technical systems during events and activationsMaster both indoor and outdoor stage systems, ensuring optimal performance across all venue spacesEnsure strict compliance with City of Denver noise ordinances and venue-specific policies while delivering professional-quality eventsPerform routine maintenance and care of all production equipment to ensure reliability and longevityEvent Coordination & AdvancementCoordinate technical advancement for national and regional touring musicians, including stage plots, input lists, and FOH requirementsManage technical planning and execution for private eventsProvide live mixing and technical support for diverse programming including live music performances, watch parties, presentations, and special activationsScheduling & CoverageMaintain flexible availability to accommodate varying shift demands (1-5 shifts per week depending on event schedule)Cover minimum 75% of assigned shifts personallyTrain and coordinate approved substitute engineers for remaining 25% of shifts, ensuring consistent quality and familiarity with venue systemsRequirementsExperience & EducationRequired : Minimum 2 years of live or studio music production/mixing experiencePreferred : Music or production-related degreePreferred : DJ experience and performance backgroundSkills & AttributesStrong technical proficiency with professional audio equipment and systemsAbility to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environmentsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills for artist liaison and team coordinationPhysical ability to handle equipment setup, breakdown, and maintenanceCompensation & ScheduleHourly Rate : $27-$37 per hourSchedule : Variable (1-5 shifts per week based on event calendar)Flexibility : Required for evenings, weekends, and special events#J-18808-Ljbffr
