Associate Content Production Specialist

divh2Production Specialist/h2pIXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Production Specialist to join our growing Content Production team. In this role, you will focus on converting our written K-12 content into an interactive, online format. By working independently and in collaboration with multiple teams, you will play an integral role in bringing IXLs content and features to life. This role has some technical aspects, so its important that you are comfortable with web-based technologies./ppThis position requires you to be in our Raleigh, NC, area office./ppstrongPlease be sure to send a cover letter with your submission so that we can learn more about you./strong/ph3What Youll Be Doing/h3ulliLearn the basics of our in-house production tools to enter the data that creates our IXL skills and skill plans/liliEnter data and format spreadsheets with close attention to detail/liliProof-read content, spotting and resolving inconsistencies or errors/liliParticipate in additional projects as needed, including learning the basics of XML to format content written by curriculum designers for use in interactive lessons/liliRapidly implement edits to ensure our content is of the highest quality/liliManage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while consistently producing high-quality work/liliUnderstand our project requirements and use them to create guidelines, processes, and documentation to support a growing team/li/ulh3What Were Looking For/h3ulliBachelors degree, preferably in mathematics, English, education or a related field/liliAbility to quickly master new guidelines and learn to use internal tools/liliStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills/liliExcellent attention to detail is required; prior proofreading/editing and data entry experience is preferred/liliCreative eye for formatting and design; experience with graphic design is a plus/liliPassion for improving education through technology/li/ulh3About IXL Learning/h3pIXL Learning is the countrys largest EdTech company.
