Miller International, Inc., designer of Cinch® and Cruel Girl®, is searching for its newest team member at our office in Denver, Colorado! Our next Technical Designer (Entry Level) will be a strong team player with basic knowledge of garment fit and construction. This role will support the entire Product Development Department and is ideal for someone passionate about apparel, eager to learn, and motivated to develop technical design skills.At Miller International, our employees enjoy a fun, casual, and laid-back atmosphere. We want to hear from you if you possess the following skills, abilities, and qualifications:This position is in‑office only.Salary: $20.67- $24.04ResponsibilitiesAssist senior team members in auditing sample garments and executing tech packetsAccurately measure proto samples, sales samples, and size sets, and record them into the PLM systemProvide inspection activity reports for the product throughout the development cyclePerform tests for colorfastness, dimensional stability, and application/durability of applied trimsDevelop knowledge of fit intent, balance, and constructionIdentify potential production and quality issues and make recommendations to ensure brand integrityProvide feedback on how construction can be modified to accommodate a product or produce a higher‑quality garmentWorking knowledge of IllustratorFoster open communication within the team and receive constructive feedback professionallyParticipate in team and cross‑functional team meetingsOther tasks assignedQualificationsCollege degree required; emphasis in fashion design, textiles, or product development preferred0-3 years Technical Design experienceStrong ability to work effectively both on a team and independentlySewing experience a plusAbility to read a tape measure and ruler, and translate into fractionsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; ability to compute percentagesExcellent organization and problem‑solving skillsAbility to adapt to and embrace changeDemonstrated initiative and strong business knowledgeExcellent computer skillsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to manage multiple projects and time lines within a fast‑paced, often changing environmentBenefitsHealth, dental, and vision coverage for employees and their familiesRetirement savings plan with company matchPaid time off, including vacation and sick leaveEmployee wellness and assistance programsOptional supplemental benefits, such as life, disability, and other voluntary coverageEducational support programs, including tuition reimbursement and student debt assistanceMiller International offers comprehensive benefits to ensure its employees are happy and healthy.
