Title: Technical Writer IIILocation: Alexandria, VA; Colorado Springs, COClearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraphJob DetailsProvide technical writing support to a large enterprise IT contractResponsible for the preparation, review, revision, and maintenance of technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentationWrite and edit technical documentation for hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentationCreate code documentation for software, produce implementation guides and end-user guides for capabilities, provide field, data definition, and data flow documentation and format technical drawingsCollaborate with technical SME's, architects and cross-functional teams in deadline-driven environmentsEnsure style, formatting, and terminology align with agency standards, style guides, and specialized vocabulary relevant to the subject matterWrite and edit executive level briefing notesDemonstrate the ability to strongly collaborate and work independently, with proven ability to thrive in team environmentWhile excelling in solo tasks, demonstrate flexibility to seamlessly switch between collaborative projects and autonomous responsibilitiesRequirementsBachelor's degree from an accredited institute in an area applicable to the position; an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degreeMinimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in addition to education levelAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Word (styles, cross-references, formatting, document integration, and complex document management) Visio, Adobe Acrobat PDF creation, and file manipulationExperience working in a DoD or IC environment desiredCurrent active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraphEqual Opportunity Employer/Veteran/Disabled#J-18808-Ljbffr
