You'll work alongside senior leadership to define goals, drive performance, and shape agency strategy and structure. You'll lead top-tier accounts, guiding overall strategy, positioning, client and media relationships, and major launches or events.You'll also contribute to the agency's broader success through leadership team participation, mentorship, and career development. The role includes involvement in new business efforts, internal marketing, events, and campaign development and measurement.You're not looking for just a role. If you're ready to shape the future of tech communications and build something you're proud of every day, this is it.What You DoTeam and Project Management: Responsible for the overall success of account teamsClient Strategy & Relations: Provides highest level strategic counsel/input; Interacts with highest level clients and executives; Leads media training and client training sessions, presentations, etc.; Prepares clients for high priority interviews and announcements; Manages conflict and resolution; Demonstrates excellent judgment in difficult client and staff situations; Up-levels client concerns; Responsible for overall account healthMedia / Analyst Relations: Develops and oversees major media programs; Manages crises; Directly involved in success of high-stakes media opportunities and events; Has established relationships with multiple media/analysts across a variety of sectors; Leverages relationships to secure strategic media opportunities for the clients and agency visibility for the agencyStrategy: Brings industry breadth and depth to the role of strategic problem solver for teams, clients, and the agency; Partners with Leadership on identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts through additional agency service offerings; Develops and drives creative communications plans that achieve client and agency goals; Demonstrates understanding of client brands and overarching communication goals; Develops and oversees strategic programs; Contextualizes client goals within the industry to make proactive recommendations around clients objectives and strategies; Develops and drives initiatives on account teams and agency wide; Consultant to clients and internal peers; In-depth understanding of clients goals and account health; Oversees thought leadership programsContent Creation: Excellent at high quality writing and editing of all materials; Creates and edits presentations and plansClient Knowledge: Brings an industry view to the process and oversight of developing client goals, predicting outcomes, and recommendations for best client, investor, and agency business results; Understands market position, competitive set, and key messagesMessaging/Positioning: Provides strategic insights and counsel; Leads high level positioning and message development; Leads positioning/messaging sessionsAccount Management: Manages team with a focus on Director and Account Supervisor development; Actively involved in all aspects of account profitability, client service, and team success; Reviews client budget, monthly billing, and client communication; Reviews and ensures OC contributions are apparent; Leads client forecasting and discussions around budgetAgency Roles: Leads agency trainings; Plays a leadership role on taskforces; Provides input in hiring decisions; Conducts and provides constructive feedback for annual reviews; Proactively mentors and provides feedback and constructive suggestions to teams/peers; Contributes to annual account review; Contributes to training and development program; Represents agency and/or clients at key industry eventsNew Business: Drives and participates in new business efforts; Knowledge and strategy around new business prospects and directionWhat You Offer12+ years of experience in public relations and/or corporate communications experienceBroad expertise across the technology landscape (corporate, crisis, consumer, B2B, AI, emerging tech) requiredA track record of driving measurable growth for clients and agency alikeComes with a strong, relevant network that opens doors whether to prospective clients, media, creators, or industry connectors, bringing immediate value to the agencyProven experience building and leading high-performing teamsStrong instincts, sharper insights, and the ability to bring clarity to complexityImpeccable writing, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball or the energyDeep integrity, no ego, and a team-first mindsetA passion for building something bigger than yourselfBenefitsAnnual salary range of $175,000-265,000 DOE401k with matchGenerous employer contributions toward insurance premiumsPaid mental health benefitsUnlimited vacation15+ paid holidays plus a paid end-of-year office closurePaid short-term disability and extensive parental leave benefitsCell phone reimbursementOutcast is an equal opportunity employer.
