GHSP is offering an exciting opportunity to participate as a Marketing Intern in the day-to-day activities of our Marketing & Communications department. This is a part-time or full-time Internship position with flexible hours, Monday - Friday, starting on-site in Holland with the potential for hybrid/remote work. This internship begins in May 2026. We are seeking a candidate who is available to work full time during the summer, with continued part-time availability throughout the school year preferred.POSITION SUMMARYThe Controls Engineering Intern position is responsible for assisting in the development and delivery of control systems for manufacturing equipment for manual to highly automated assembly and test equipment. This engineering assignment will involve interaction with the Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams to troubleshoot electrical and controls of manufacturing equipment, and will also involve writing software and PLC code for machines. The engineer should be able to work independently as well as in a team based environment.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESTroubleshoot and assist with controls issues on production equipmentAssist in programming equipment, robotics, inspection cameras, and operator interfacesVerification of all controls requirements on manufacturing equipmentAssist with integrating electrical safety requirements into equipmentAssist in the delivery of all required electrical systems documentationHelp in the development of specifications (include electrical/programming/hardware requirements)QUALIFICATIONSPursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other applicable field of EngineeringInterest in controls design and improving assembly / test equipmentSKILLS/EXPERIENCEProficient in MS Office productsUnderstanding of PLC controls/Ladder Logic/Visual Basic techniquesHands on technical experience and problem solving capabilityDemonstrated understanding of mechanical/electrical conceptsGood communication skills / team experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
