If you\'re dedicated, dependable and driven to deliver exceptional guest service, this is a place for you!Responsibilities Assist Entertainment Team with procurementAssist with tracking and communication of procured itemsAssist in development and execution of key documentationAssist in reaching out to vendors for information and follow-upMaintain Excel Spreadsheet for procurement trackingSupport Supervisors of Special Events, Stage Managers – Area and the Stage Manager - Safety as neededHelp with inventory & procurement of equipment, materials and suppliesHelp manage rental of equipment for Entertainment DepartmentResponsible for developing and maintaining quality standards throughout all assigned tasks, special events and show positionsResponsible for assisting with Entertainment activities and special events in other facilities outside of the park as neededSubmit daily/weekly reports to Managers detailing all show and event related activities and other pertinent information including procurement processesCover for other Stage Managers/Technicians/other departments as needed on their days off, vacation, absences etc.Work in a team environment and interact with guests and other ambassadors in a professional mannerPerform other duties as assignedWhat it takes to succeed Must be at least 18 years oldMust be able to obtain valid driver\'s license and be able to meet Busch Gardens driving guidelinesCollege Degree (preferred), theater or related field, equivalent experience in theater or entertainment related disciplineDisplay proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPointSAP experience preferredSeapass experience preferredMust have excellent organizational, problem solving and planning skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneouslyAble to work under pressure and direct personnel under ambiguous or uncertain stressful conditionsPossess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills successfully interacting in a positive manner with various guests, entertainers, leadership, technicians, outside contractors, entertainment and park staff, and personnel from other departments or corporate teamsMust be able to recognize behavioral issues within the team that need to be addressed and handle them in an appropriate and timely mannerUnderstand and enforce the use of proper safety protocols and safety systems, be able to properly inspect and document inspections and operation of safety sensitive equipment or procedures and enforce the consistent use of personal protective equipmentDemonstrate strong communication skills, display respect for others, perform all duties with a positive attitude and demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, be willing to increase their personal development, and positively influence employees and vendors/contractors and display strong guest service skillsProvide technical support and service for events or for other departmental needs and perform other functions as directed by management for the good of the Department and ParkAdhere to and enforce all Park/Department policies and proceduresCommunicate professionally and effectively with ambassadors and guestWhat else is important Ability to lift/push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds several times throughout a scheduled shiftPosition engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift and climb/ascend heights (if needed)Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying Florida weather, to include extreme heatPosition will be exposed to fumes, dust, odors and cold/heat temperature extremesMust be able to work in environment with atmospheric effects such as fog, smoke, haze, mist, bubble, snow and scentsThere may also be lighting effects, such as strobe lights, bright, dark, elevated, or cramped conditionsPerform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to-waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)Perform all cleaning duties, including use of cleaning chemicalsMust be flexible in work locations and roles as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunitiesWork a flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts, nights, weekends, and holidaysThe perks of the position Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveawaysEEO and About Us EEO Employer: SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
