You'll report directly to our Copywriter and collaborate closely with Creative, Social, Marketing, and CX to oversee community management.The right person for this role loves being online, is naturally funny, has strong decision‑making skills, and is excited to write. If you feel like you really get social media, understand how tone reads online, and want to write for real people, please keep scrolling.you'll be asked toOwn daily community management across all social platforms (including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook) with a focus on monitoring and responding to comments, direct messages, and user generated contentMaintain fast, thoughtful responses across social platforms while balancing humor, warmth, and brand self‑awarenessCollaborate with the Influencer/Marketing team to create copy for seeding initiatives, gifting, launches, and VIP communicationsMonitor and reply to comments on paid ads and support the Copy team as needed with in‑asset copy and descriptionsDraft comments for owned social content and reactive communications during launch periods, as well as captions and IG Threads as neededTrack recurring community questions, feedback, and trends and proactively identify and elevate sensitive topics to necessary teams (including CX and Regulatory)Flag potential UGC and creators to relevant Social/Influencer teamsStay on top of platform‑native behaviors, in‑the‑know humor, internet culture, and the conversations Starface should be a part ofAssist with various copy projects as needed, including Big Yellow character development, product launches, evergreen marketing, brainstorms, and new social platformsBe available after hours when necessary for timely or urgent matters (including weekends)this role is for you ifYou have 2–3 years of experience in social media copywriting, community management, or brand writingYou have a strong understanding of the Starface voice and how the brand shows up onlineYou're an excellent writer with a sharp sense of humor and strong grasp of tone, timing, and voiceYou're collaborative, flexible, and able to work quickly while maintaining good judgmentYou're optimistic, creative, and motivated by funExperience in comedy, improv, or satirical writing is a plus, but not requiredsalary & benefitsThe compensation range for this role is a $60,000–70,000 base depending on level of experience, as well as bonus eligibility.Additional benefits include:Access to high‑quality health care optionsAccess to a 401k with 5% employer match eligibility4 weeks of vacation plus up to 20 paid holidays12 weeks fully paid parental leave5 days of pet‑ernity leave for pet adoptionHome office & internet supplement stipendAnnual learning & development stipendFlexible Fridays, and Summer FridaysFully remote work environment...and much, much more!Starface is an Equal Opportunity Employer where the spirit of inclusion feeds into everything that we do.
