Job DescriptionJob Duties:Provide concept design, animation, implementation, and support of Vizrt and Flowics graphic packagesBuild strong professional relationships with different shareholders involved in our different propertiesTrain other shareholders in leveraging the use of Vizrt productsSupport the team on Unreal Engine graphics design and deployment in Augmented (AR) and Virtual (VR) environmentsMaintain and update existing on‑screen graphics packages on an ongoing basisHave a basic understanding of VBScript and Template Wizard to manage and deploy templatesSupport linear and digital platforms as neededHave a passion for current news and entertainment storiesBe a team player, flexible, and goal‑oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlinesStay aware of developing technologies within the industry and integrate them into a live broadcast environmentDemonstrate a solid understanding of all aspects of television production and working within a live production environmentKnowledge of HTML5 web‑based graphic development is a plusQualificationsBasic Requirements:Skilled across the entire VizRT platform; Unreal Engine and Flowics experience is a plusEngineering degree or diploma in Computer Sciences or a related fieldOperational and technical expertise with Vizrt Graphics productsMinimum 5+ years of professional experience using Viz ArtistProficiency with industry software applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects; Cinema4D or Blender is a plusDetail‑oriented with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment under tight deadlinesGood time‑management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks promptlyFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as neededEEO StatementAs part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in‑person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
