FREELANCE SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATORHybrid | New York City (Meatpacking District) Scarlett Gasque is seeking a highly creative, culturally aware, and detail-oriented Freelance Social Media Coordinator to support our Social Media & Content Manager across all digital platforms.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who deeply understands fashion, visual storytelling, and social media culture, and is eager to help shape the daily content ecosystem of a growing New York-based fashion brand.ResponsibilitiesSupport content creation, publishing, and day-to-day management across Scarlett Gasque's social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTubeCapture, film, edit, and assist in creating engaging short-form photo and video content aligned with the brand's visual identityCollaborate cross-functionally to document the behind-the-scenes of a growing fashion brand, including fittings, factory visits, design development, office culture, and brand momentsSupport community management, including responding to DMs and comments in collaboration with the customer support teamAttend photoshoots, events, activations, and brand moments for content capture and general supportAssist the Social Media & Content Manager with photoshoot coordination, research, content planning, and creative ideationTrack and report on weekly organic social performance, helping identify content learnings and opportunities for growthHelp maintain a cohesive brand presence across platforms, with a strong understanding of Scarlett Gasque's tone, aesthetic, and customerWho You AreDeeply immersed in social media, fashion, and digital cultureStrong eye for composition, storytelling, and visual curationComfortable filming and editing high-quality content for social platformsHighly organized, proactive, and able to move quickly in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcited by both creative execution and operational supportExperience in fashion, beauty, or luxury-adjacent brands is a plus
