Brand Director

Overview: The Brand Director is the face of the brand team to the client and oversees a team which may include Brand Managers, Product Managers, and Product Associates, supporting licensing initiatives for a portfolio of clients. The Director, in partnership with their sales counterpart and VP's, will develop and execute effective brand expansion and prospecting strategies, build strong trusted relationships with clients and licensees, and effectively manage the portfolio of clients.
Management:
Oversee day to day management of Brand Managers, Product Managers and Product Associates including onboarding, mentoring, and feedback to foster growth and development
Fostering trusted teamwork cross functionally, with management and with junior employees which includes communication, collaboration, empowerment, and inclusion
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management and Strategy Development
Oversee onboarding of new clients and build strong relationships, understanding their needs and objectives with support from Brand Manager.
Responsible for ensuring brand managers adhere to strategy for clients and set quarterly goals for product pitch and growth efforts by licensees.
Establish a QBR schedule for internal leadership and clients for each brand.
Strategy Development and Support
Identify challenges and proactively bring innovative solutions to the VP of Brand and Product.
Support the sales team and leadership in the development of overall strategy.
Contribute to budget planning and financial forecasting in collaboration with the sales team.
Business Development and Reporting
Support new business development initiatives, including developing initial strategies and proposals
Attend key meetings and meet with senior licensee and client partners.
Trade Show and Event Support
Support the development and execution of strategies for trade shows.
Attend key meetings as needed to represent our brand and strengthen relationships.
Process Improvement and Efficiency
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the team.
Develop innovative solutions to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
10+ years of experience in brand and client management
Focus on relationship building and nurturing plus creative problem solving
3+ years of team management experience
Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically
Excellent presentation skills and communication skills
Excellent relationship building skills
Strong understanding of client and licensee relationship and processes
Ability to develop and execute effective brand strategies
Ability to travel within the US and Overseas.
Salary for this role $125,000-$150,000, will be determined based on the level of experience of the candidate.
