Job Summary The Director, Marketing, Elastomers & Primary Containment (E&PC) is responsible for driving market awareness, demand generation, and commercial enablement for high-value containment and delivery solutions. Leads go-to-market strategy, product positioning, campaign development, and customer-facing messaging to support revenue growth and strategic account expansion across pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets. Ensures alignment between customer needs, regulatory considerations, and West's portfolio offering and innovation pipeline to strengthen competitive differentiation and support long-term growth. This role will partner cross-functionally with Market & Competitive Intelligence, Product Management, R&D, Technical SMEs, Sales, Technical Customer Service and Marketing Operations to translate a highly technical product portfolio and capabilities into clear customer value propositions.

Education Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Science, Engineering or related fields required Master's Degree preferred
Work Experience Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other highly regulated B2B manufacturing environments. Demonstrated experience leading global go-to-market strategies for complex, technical product portfolios. Proven track record of developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive measurable revenue growth, margin expansion, and market share gains.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of AI tools use for digital marketing, including the customer's search-find-buy journey, and impact to strategies for paid search SEO, etc. Experience marketing components, primary packaging, containment systems, drug delivery systems, or engineered solutions for injectable therapeutics. Experience supporting strategic accounts or top-tier pharmaceutical customers. Able to be aware of all relevant standard operating procedures as per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description Able to comply with the company's safety and quality policy at all times.
Travel Requirements 20%: Up to 52 business days per year Physical Requirements Sedentary-Exerting up to 10lbs/4kgs of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
