Senior Social Media And Communications Manager

East West Bank is seeking a bilingual "Senior Social Media and Communications Manager" to join our Corporate Communications team. This role requires fluency in English and Mandarin, strong writing skills, and expertise in social media management. Responsibilities include executing external communications, managing media relations, and driving the bank's social media strategy to enhance brand presence on Chinese social media channels such as WeChat and Xiaohongshu. The role will monitor social conversations, engage with audiences, and manage negative feedback. This is a mid-level full-time position for a creative, data-driven professional.
Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies to support brand and business goals.
Professional working proficiency in English, and Mandarin is a required.
Manage daily operations across social media channels on Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, WeChat and Xiaohongshu including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
Assist in developing high-quality, scalable graphical and video templates.
Establish and manage a content calendar with an optimized posting cadence.
Track and analyze performance metrics to inform strategy and improve outcomes.
Assist with crisis management and respond to negative comments or news.
Stay updated on social media trends and best practices.
Develop social media dashboards and present insights to stakeholders.
May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
3+ years of social media and digital marketing experience, including influencer/creator management.
Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and verbal) with cultural sensitivity in communication.
Proven success driving engagement, traffic, and growth across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X., WeChat, Xiaohongshu, and Weibo.
Data-driven mindset with expertise in social media analytics and performance tracking.
Proficiency in social media tools (Meltwater)
Strong strategic planning, content development, and communication skills.
SEO and photography skills a plus.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $130,000.00/Yr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
