Position Description:
Lead a high-impact Salesforce practice of 20+ onshore/offshore engineers on a large-scale Financial Services Cloud program, balancing genuine hands-on engineering with strategic platform ownership. This is a rare opportunity to set the Salesforce strategy and roadmap, drive platform resiliency and engineering maturity, and partner directly with senior business stakeholders to deliver measurable outcomes. You will operate at the intersection of architecture, delivery, and leadership, shaping how multiple Agile teams build and scale the platform. The role is based in Naperville, IL on a hybrid schedule and offers significant scope to influence both the technology and the people who deliver it.

Your future duties and responsibilities
Lead a team of 20+ Salesforce developers across onshore and offshore locations, owning their delivery and engineering maturity.
Stay hands-on across Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, and platform architecture while operating at a strategic level.
Define the Salesforce strategy and roadmap for large-scale programs, prioritizing in partnership with business stakeholders.
Manage and coordinate multiple Agile teams across workstreams using scaled Agile practices.
Drive platform resiliency, scalability, and overall engineering maturity across the Salesforce estate.
Engage senior business stakeholders to shape priorities, communicate trade-offs, and deliver business outcomes.
Navigate complex, ambiguous environments and lead the organization through change

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Senior, hands-on Salesforce leader able to operate hands-on and strategically (essential)
Hands-on expertise in Apex, LWC, integrations, and Salesforce platform architecture (essential)
Leadership at scale: directed 15–30 engineers across onshore/offshore teams (essential)
Owned and managed Salesforce FSC platforms and run large programs (essential)
Proven Salesforce strategy and roadmap ownership for large-scale programs (essential)
Wealth Management / Financial Services experience (essential)
Strong verbal communication and executive stakeholder engagement (essential)
Required Salesforce certification for a senior architect/leader (essential)
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) experience (desired)
Scaled Agile leadership across multiple teams and workstreams (desired)

Must-Have Skills
Senior, hands-on Salesforce leadership experience operating at both delivery and strategic levels.
Strong hands-on Salesforce engineering: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), integrations, and platform architecture.
Proven leadership at scale, directing 15–30 engineers across onshore/offshore teams.
Demonstrated ownership of Salesforce strategy and roadmap for large-scale programs.
Strong scaled-Agile process knowledge with the ability to stand up and lead multiple Agile teams across workstreams.
Wealth Management / Financial Services domain experience (critical).
Strong verbal communication and executive-level stakeholder presence.
Required Salesforce certification appropriate to a senior architect/leader.

Nice-to-Have Skills
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) platform ownership experience (preferred).
Experience defining and running large, multi-workstream Salesforce programs end to end.
Track record of improving platform resiliency, scalability, and engineering maturity.
