Job Description

Dr.Reddy's is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager - Biologics to lead, develop, and drive the performance of the field sales force in France. The role combines sales leadership, operational coordination, and strong people development capabilities, with a particular focus on coaching, field accompaniment (shadowing), and performance improvement of Sales Representatives. The incumbent will act as a key interface between the field force and headquarters, ensuring alignment with company strategy, sales objectives, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership and Performance Management
Lead and manage the field sales team, ensuring the achievement of sales objectives and qualitative targets
Translate company strategy and brand plans into clear priorities and actionable field objectives
Monitor individual and team performance through defined KPIs, dashboards, and CRM tools
Analyse results, identify performance gaps, and define corrective action plans
Field Coaching and Shadowing
Conduct regular field visits and ride-alongs with Medical Representatives
Provide structured in-field coaching, focusing on selling skills, customer engagement, product knowledge, and compliance
Deliver clear, constructive, and actionable feedback after field visits
Coordination of Field Activities
Plan and coordinate field activities in line with sales cycles, campaigns, and promotional priorities
Ensure effective territory coverage and optimal resource allocation
Act as a central point of coordination between the field force and internal stakeholders (Marketing, Medical, Finance, HR)
Administrative and Operational Management
Oversee administrative processes related to the field force (travel organization, expense management, meetings, reporting)
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of field activities and sales data
Guarantee adherence to internal policies, procedures, and timelines
Communication and Stakeholder Management
Ensure clear, consistent, and timely communication to the field team regarding objectives, priorities, and company updates
Escalate field insights, market intelligence, and customer feedback to management and relevant departments
Address operational or performance issues promptly and constructively
Training and Development
Contribute to onboarding programs for new Sales / Medical Representatives
Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and HR to implement training initiatives
Reinforce training content through on-the-job coaching and follow-up in the field
Compliance and Quality Assurance
Ensure that all sales activities comply with internal standards, ethical rules, and applicable French regulations
Act as a role model for compliant, ethical, and professional behaviour in the field
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor + 2Yrs degree in Life Sciences or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Experience:

10+ years of relevant experience.
Skills & Attributes:
Proven experience in marketing and/or sales force management within pharma. Expertise in Biologics products would be a plus
Strong coaching mindset with the ability to develop people through field accompaniment
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPIs and translate data into actions
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Excellent communication, feedback, and interpersonal skills
Solid proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
Results-oriented with a hands-on leadership style
High level of accountability and ownership
Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented
Approachable, credible, and capable of motivating teams
Comfortable balancing operational execution with people development
Good command in English
