Leading the end-to-end proposal development lifecycle for federal government solicitations, the full-time remote Director of Federal Proposals will establish proposal strategies, manage operations, and ensure compliance with federal regulations to deliver high-quality, competitive proposals that support company growth objectives.
Key responsibilities
Direct all aspects of proposal development for federal solicitations, including RFPs, RFQs, and IDIQ task orders
Establish proposal strategies aligned with capture plans and competitive positioning while overseeing proposal managers and writers
Conduct compliance reviews and lead final executive readiness reviews to ensure proposals meet federal compliance requirements
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, English, Public Administration, or a related field
10+ years of federal proposal experience, including 5+ years in a leadership or management role
Proficiency in AI tools and demonstrated success leading complex, multi-million-dollar federal proposals
Deep knowledge of the federal acquisition process, FAR/DFARS, and agency procurement practices
Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills
