Integrated Account Director

This is a hybrid role based in Chicago, working onsite Mondays/Wednesdays.
We're seeking an experienced Account Director to join our Client Services team. This is an opportunity to lead integrated marketing programs for exciting clients within the tourism space, leading cross functional teams to deliver results, inspire innovation and steward lasting client relationships.
What you'll do:
Serve as the primary client lead for both media and brand/creative programscultivating strong, trusted partnerships and acting as their day-to-day strategic advisor.
Lead campaign planning and execution across the full consumer journeystreamlining workflows and ensuring seamless collaboration within internal teams.
Own internal and client meetings, distill client's business priorities, and keep communications tight and strategic (recaps, POVs, timelines, rationale).
Translate client objectives into comprehensive, results-driven marketing plans and compelling proposals.
Drive account performance by monitoring revenue pacing, forecasting, SOW management, and profitabilitywith an eye for growth opportunities.
Steer development of creative briefs, campaign architecture, messaging strategy, and results analysis across digital and traditional channels.
Mentor and develop team members, ensuring best-in-class standards and continuous learning.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional agency teams (creative, media, analytics, business development) to problem-solve, make decisions, and drive progress.
Final QA of client deliverables and share learnings across internal teams.
Who you are:
5+ years of experience leading integrated account management at a marketing agency (destination marketing experience preferred)
A natural relationship builder and trusted advisor who is as comfortable with high-stakes presentations as you are with day-to-day communications
Strategic, analytical, and entrepreneurialproactive about identifying opportunities, with a knack for creative problem-solving and insight synthesis
Experience in reviewing brand, campaign and tactical briefs, campaign planning documents, and integrated marketing strategies with the client lens
Experienced developing creative briefs, campaign planning documents, and integrated marketing strategies
Financially fluent: familiar with agency revenue models, SOWs, forecasting, and account growth
Excellent communicator, with strong EQ, executive presence, and an ability to lead and mentor teams
Driven by curiosity, trend-awareness, and performance storytelling
