To support the Federal Aviation Administration, the full-time remote Technical Writer with Public Trust will provide editing expertise for policy and guidance documents, manage document projects, and ensure compliance with established standards.
Key responsibilities
Support the revision and creation of policy and guidance documents for the Flight Standards Service
Perform detailed editing reviews and verify the accuracy of references and aviation terminology
Coordinate document submissions and maintain records of production steps and communications
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and publishing tools such as Adobe Acrobat
Experience with 508 compliance
Strong research and electronic organization skills
Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability
