Role Description This is a part-time, hybrid Audio Visual Specialist role based in Las Vegas, NV, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Audio Visual Specialist will support day-to-day setup, operation, and breakdown of AV systems for meetings, trainings, and events, including projectors, sound systems, displays, and video conferencing tools. Responsibilities include configuring and monitoring AV equipment, ensuring high-quality audio and video, and quickly troubleshooting technical issues during live sessions. The role will collaborate with internal teams and clients to understand event requirements, test connections in advance, and maintain an organized inventory of AV assets. The specialist will also document setups and procedures, recommend improvements or upgrades, and provide clear, professional customer support to all users.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Audio Visual Support and hands-on experience with Audio Visual (AV) Systems for meetings, trainings, and events.
- Experience with Video Conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Webex) including setup, testing, and live session support.
- Proven ability in Troubleshooting AV and connectivity issues in time-sensitive, live environments.
- Excellent Customer Service skills with the ability to support users of varied technical backgrounds.
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts related to AV and video conferencing is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing multiple events and equipment.
- Ability to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV, with occasional flexible hours for events; some remote coordination as needed.
- Prior experience in AV support for corporate, government, or educational settings is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional AV certifications or technical training are advantageous.
