GDG Media is a fast-growing digital marketing and business development agency serving construction companies, local government agencies, and B2B service businesses across the United States.
Demand for our services is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Vice President of Media Operations to help lead our fulfillment team, strengthen operational systems, and support the continued growth of the agency.
This is a senior leadership role working directly with the founder and executive team to oversee media operations, improve client experience, and help scale the company.

Location
This role is not fully remote.
Candidates must be willing to work hybrid or in-person with our leadership team.
Compensation
This is a salary + profit share leadership role.

What You\'ll Do
Fulfillment Leadership
- Oversee the entire media operations team including:
- Director of Media Operations
- Customer Success Manager
- LeadMail Specialist
- Content Production Manager
- Automations & Technology Manager
- Ensure projects are delivered effectively across:
- Google Ads
- Google LSA
- Meta Ads
- Cold email campaigns
- Content production
- Website development
- Automation systems
Client Oversight
- Serve as oversight for Tier 1 client accounts
- Lead onboarding calls for high-value clients
- Manage client escalations and retention situations
- Ensure clients receive consistent reporting and communication
- Monitor client satisfaction and retention
Team Leadership
- Conduct 1:1 meetings with department leaders
- Train and mentor team members
- Monitor team workload and operational capacity
- Ensure deadlines and client deliverables are met
Operational Systems
- Improve onboarding systems and client experience
- Maintain and refine internal SOPs
- Improve internal communication structures
- Oversee reporting cadence and fulfillment metrics
- Help build scalable operational systems
Business Growth Support
- Work with the founder on growth strategy
- Support large client acquisition opportunities
- Provide insights that improve sales collateral and positioning
- Identify new platforms or services aligned with our ideal clients
Required Experience
- Candidates should have 10+ years of combined media, marketing, or business experience.
- Ideal candidates will have experience with:
- Managing digital marketing or media teams
- Paid media platforms such as Google Ads or Meta Ads
- Leading operational teams in a marketing or service-based company
- Project management and operational systems
- Client relationship management
Preferred Experience
- Marketing agency leadership experience
- Experience scaling operations in a growing company
- Knowledge of marketing automation and CRM systems
- Experience with lead generation systems
- Sales or business development experience (a plus)
