Position Summa
ryThis role is responsible for coordinating the department of Environmental Justice’s (EJ) program activities and will be part of an existing team of EJ coordinators and program managers who are responsible for raising awareness of programs and initiatives. Candidate must be willing to travel throughout NY State and work outside normal business hours for event
s.
Key Responsibilit
iesAssist with all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, attendee travel, and onsite coordination, to ensure flawless execution on event d
ay.Maintain & coordinate calendars, manage attendee lists, prepare name badges and conference materials, and manage event registratio
ns.Supporting communication with community partners, vendors, local organizations, and internal sta
ff.Process event-related invoices, update registration reports, and maintain accurate records for post-event evaluati
on.Track and update internal spreadsheets and documents related to program/event metrics and budget tracki
ng.Assist in procurement activities including purchase requisitio
ns.Coordinate catering and giveaway orders to support educational progra
ms.Support collection, organization and disbursement of promotional and collateral materia
ls.Prepare space for in-person events, coordinate with AV team, faciliti
es.Support preparation of written reports & presentations for manageme
