In all cases, we're here to ensure the end user is completely satisfied with their purchase.Position SummaryThe Intimates Designer is responsible for the design and development of innovative, trend-right, and commercially successful intimates collections across licensed and private label brands. This role will manage the design process from concept through production, collaborating closely with Product Development, Technical Design, Production, Sales, and overseas partners to ensure products align with brand vision, customer expectations, and business objectives.The ideal candidate combines strong creative design capabilities with a deep understanding of garment construction, fabrications, fit, and product development processes within the intimates category.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop seasonal intimates collections across licensed and private label brandsResearch market trends, consumer insights, fabric innovations, trims, silhouettes, and color direction to drive product developmentCreate detailed CADs, technical sketches, presentation boards, and design packages utilizing Adobe Creative SuiteDevelop product concepts that align with brand positioning, retailer requirements, and customer needsCollaborate closely with Product Development, Technical Design, and Production teams to ensure designs are commercially viable and production-readyParticipate in fit sessions and partner with Technical Design to ensure fit, functionality, comfort, and design intent are maintainedCommunicate directly with overseas factories and vendors regarding sample development, artwork, fabric sourcing, revisions, approvals, and production timelinesReview and approve samples throughout the development process, providing clear feedback and directionSupport costing initiatives and margin objectives by balancing design innovation with commercial requirementsMaintain organized design files, seasonal line plans, presentation materials, and development documentationManage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting critical development and production deadlinesPartner cross-functionally with Sales, Product Development, Production, Merchandising, and Licensing teams to support seasonal objectives and customer presentationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field preferred5+ years of design experience within the intimates, lingerie, shapewear, sleepwear, or related apparel categoriesStrong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrications, trims, and technical specificationsExperience managing products from concept through productionProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, and PLM systemsExperience working directly with overseas factories and manufacturing partnersStrong presentation, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong creative and technical design capabilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience designing licensed productsExperience within both private label and branded environmentsKnowledge of retailer-specific requirements and market trendsExperience across additional categories such as sleepwear, activewear, or loungewearExperience designing for both women's and men's product categoriesPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of sitting and working on a computerAbility to review garment samples, fabric swatches, and product prototypesAbility to occasionally lift and move sample garments and materials up to 25 poundsBenefitsMajesty Brands offers a competitive compensation package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, 401(k), and additional employee benefits.Additional InformationMajesty Brands is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position now or in the future.Compensation: Majesty Brands is committed to offering a compensation package that reflects the qualifications, experience, and overall value an individual brings to the organization. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 annually.
