Web Developer (Python/CSS)Job detailsProfessional ServicesRelocation PositionFull-timeWe are looking for a **Web Developer** (Python/CSS).**What you'll do:*** Develop and maintain a front-end web application (AskNRA) used for IP database reporting across multiple NATO security domains.* Build and implement modular, high-quality user interfaces using Python, CSS, and related technologies.* Ensure development follows strict constraints, avoiding third-party CDNs or unapproved external packages, relying only on NATO-approved libraries.* Participate in Agile sprint cycles, including sprint planning, execution, review, and reporting.* Support weekly in-person coordination meetings, workshops, and status reviews.* Deliver sprint reports and maintain accurate technical documentation aligned with configuration management practices.* Develop and enhance key application features such as responsive web pages, interactive dashboards, real-time data streaming, email integration, file upload functionality, and PDF generation.* Support data comparison activities (exception reports) and assist with integration and maintenance tasks.* Work closely with Service Delivery Managers and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.* Ensure high-quality code delivery aligned with project standards and operational requirements.**What you will need to bring:*** Strong experience (minimum 4 years) in developing WSGI-based web applications using Python and Flask.* Solid knowledge of Flask Blueprints, Jinja2, CSS (Bootstrap), JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and SQLite.* Experience building dynamic and responsive front-end interfaces with partial page reloads and AJAX-driven interactions.* Good understanding of frontend modularity, maintainability, and interface documentation best practices.* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.* Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and Agile environments.* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering high-quality results.* Knowledge of NATO structures and working environments is considered an asset.* Holds, or is eligible to obtain, a national security clearance as a citizen of a NATO member state.* Availability to work in a hybrid model in Belgium.**What can Syone offer:*** Integration in an organization with profound and sustained growth and involvement in pioneering projects with innovative technological solutions;* Strong IT training plans;* Professional evolution with intervention in ambitious technological projects, both national and internationally.By applying, you accept our GDPR policies.
