About Battery Recycling Solutions (BRS)
We extract critical materials from end-of-life batteries or production scrap. Our goal is to bring valuable elements back into the battery supply chain. By means of our technological excellence, we reduce the need for primary metal production. What you will be doing
As a

Technical-Commercial Manager

within

Battery Recycling Solutions

(BRS), you play a key role in building and scaling our recycling business by combining technical insights with strong commercial execution.

You will:

Develop and position our recycling offering

Evaluate and benchmark BRS’ offering against competitors (technologies, flowsheets, cost structures, capabilities)

Contribute to a competitive and differentiated value proposition

Support pricing strategies based on techno-economic assessments

Drive supply & sales partnerships across the value chain

Develop and manage relationships with OEMs, PROs and industrial partners

Prepare commercial offers (including tenders) and negotiate recycling contracts

Secure feedstock agreements and develop off-take partnerships

Translate market needs into business opportunities

Track and understand customer requirements and convert them into technical-commercial solutions

Develop and execute customer engagement strategies

Represent BRS at customer meetings, fairs and conferences

Support business growth through analysis and optimization

Perform techno-economic evaluations of new business flows

Improve existing flows, processes and business models

Integrate technical insights with economic analysis

Build and leverage market intelligence

Monitor developments in battery, metals and recycling markets

Contribute to market intelligence and competitive analysis

Identify new technologies, partners and market opportunities

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a technical-commercial professional who combines strong analytical capabilities with the drive to build a business in an industrial and fast-growing environment.

You bring:

Strong technical foundation

Master’s degree or PhD in engineering, chemistry, materials science or a related field

Affinity with metallurgy, recycling, waste handling or industrial operations is a strong asset

Around 5 years of experience in a technical, commercial role

Experience in metals, recycling, chemicals or related sectors is highly relevant

Experience with contracts, supply chains or partnerships is a plus

Analytical mindset

Ability to structure and synthesize technical and commercial information

Strong problem-solving and techno-economic reasoning skills

Commercial and interpersonal skills

Customer-oriented with strong relationship-building capabilities

Skilled negotiator in complex stakeholder environments

Able to translate technical topics into business value

Strong communication skills and team player

Languages and mobility

Fluent in English (Dutch required for Belgium-based role; French/German is a plus)

Willingness to travel internationally

Work location preferably in

Belgium (or Germany)

depending on candidate's residence
