Position Overview
Destined for a seasoned life insurance professional, this fully remote role with 40% travel focuses on acquiring and growing relationships with individual brokers, producer groups, and national accounts across the

Mid Atlantic

region.

Compensation: Competitive base salary up to $75,000 plus overrides; top performers can earn over $250,000 annually.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Implement key account strategies and processes for all accounts, including gold sheet, action plan, and strategic marketing plan.

Develop existing broker/account relationships and recruit new broker/accounts.

Communicate account status to the DBS team, ensuring timely updates, especially during onboarding.

Continuously develop industry, carrier, and product knowledge.

Contribute to the overall success and profitability of the agency.

Meet or exceed acquired and assigned account production goals.

Education and Experience

Past sales and relationship management experience in the life insurance industry required.

FINRA: Series 6 and/or 7, or 63 required.

College degree or higher education preferred.

Life and Health License.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Leadership, organizational and people skills, flexibility, team orientation, ability to travel, budget management, strong written and oral communication, planning and prioritizing.

Effective teamwork within a diverse group.

Travel within assigned region approximately 40–50% of the time.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Salesforce (or similar CRM), Concur or related expense management.

Fast learner of new business and communication systems.

Professional communication style.

High focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Adaptability to change with a positive and productive attitude.

Strong work ethic with a sense of urgency.

Deliver complete, accurate, prompt, confidential, and courteous service to all DBS customers.
