SOCIAL MEDIA/PR INTERN – Summer 2026 Internship

REPORTING TO: Head of PR and Social

LOCATION: NYC

As a Media/PR Intern, you will be working alongside our team helping with day‑to‑day social, influencer and PR projects. Throughout the internship program you will work alongside our team and experience full immersion into the day‑to‑day of agency life, from attending brainstorms, research and developing campaign ideas, and actively assisting with client projects and presentations. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, who gets excited about identifying opportunities and bringing them to fruition.

Desired Skills/Experience

Loves all things culture, latest trends, why things go viral etc.

Pursuing or just graduated with a degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or other relevant field.

Great interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Great attention to detail.

Enjoys solving problems, brainstorming solutions, and developing a strategic approach to executing a plan

Can toggle between analytical and creative mindsets

Enjoys working in a collaborative environment (within your own team, with various clients, and with other internal teams at Iris)

Internship Program

Interns will work closely with their manager and colleagues and will contribute to the work the team is doing for clients.

Interns will have the opportunity to present to leaders at the end of their internship.

Dates: June 15 – August 14 (Flexible start and end dates), 9 weeks (including 1 week off 6/29-7/3).

3 days/week (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) required in NYC office.

Compensation: $18/hour.
