Senior Video Editor - YouTube

Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Video Editor - YouTube, based in Parker, CO, with work-from-home flexibility. The Senior Video Editor will edit high-quality true crime video content, color grade footage, create motion and graphic assets, and collaborate with the production team to develop engaging visual storytelling. Daily tasks include refining video footage, implementing creative design elements, and ensuring all content aligns with Mile Higher Media’s visual style and standards.

Qualifications

Expertise in Video Editing and Video Production, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.

Proficiency in Video Color Grading and enhancing the visual appeal of video content.

Experience in Motion Graphics and creating engaging, dynamic visual effects.

Organize footage, media assets, project files, and deliverables in a way that keeps projects running smoothly.

Add music, sound design, b-roll, transitions, graphics, and other visual elements where needed.

Knowledge of creating and implementing graphics for video content.

Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a creative team and communicate effectively.

Experience working on YouTube content is highly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Familiarity with trends and audience preferences in digital media and YouTube content creation.

Experience turning long-form content into engaging clips for platforms like TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.

Must have a strong interest in true crime video content, including podcasts and documentaries.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Flexible mindset—comfortable operating outside of a traditional 9-5 schedule as needed.

Salary range of $70,000-$90,000 annually.
