Overview Craft clear, engaging scripts and copy across video, web, and event formats, and produce end-to-end media projects. As a Writer, this position works with producers, project managers, and clients to technically execute copy in a fast-paced multi-media production department. As a producer, this position works closely with teams and stakeholders to manage internal and external corporate video stories, interviews, training videos, brand messaging and live video and event productions. Both duties include incorporating evolving processes utilizing generative AI in workflows where possible.
At least 3 days in the office.
Pay: $115-125k (depending on experience)
Duties & Responsibilities Write scripts, VO, and lower-thirds; adapt to plain language where needed.
Sub-edit/proof content; ensure factual accuracy and consistency.
Shape narratives with producers/editors; support interview prep.
Coordinate captions, descriptions, and accessibility notes.
Manage approvals and version control.
Content Creation: Research and write original, engaging, and technically precise copy for video, web, social media, and design products, ensuring complex concepts are translated for a wide audience.
Production Management: Function as a Producer for internal and external corporate video stories, interviews, and brand messaging; assist in the development of scripts and manage video assets to enhance show content.
Strategic Collaboration: Actively participate in production meetings and event planning with internal and external partners to provide visually dynamic and engaging creative solutions.
Operational Excellence: Develop, document, and implement streamlined standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the writing and production workflow, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
AI & Technical Innovation: Research and advise on the impacts of generative AI tools for scale and speed, assisting the team in designing approaches for incorporating AI into creative processes.
Logistics & Support: Support the Creative Team during extended hours, evenings, or weekends for special events as required.
Skills & Qualifications Technical Mastery: At least 5 years of experience in broadcast writing and producing, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and functional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Premiere).
Creative & Strategic Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts across departments.
AI Literacy: Basic understanding of the principles, ethics, and modalities of generative AI and their audio/video applications.
Communication: Excellent structured communication skills for training teams and managing multi-stakeholder engagements.
Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Video/Film Production, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of writing and video production experience in a corporate or broadcast environment.
Required: Portfolio/Reel of previous work.
Experience with generative AI tools (e.g., Sora, Midjourney, Eleven Labs) is a plus.
