Part-Time|Hybrid

Location: Jackson, MI (Downtown office + remote flexibility)

Taurusroad is a full-service creative and strategic marketing agency based in downtown Jackson, MI. We help passionate brands and organizations bring clarity to the chaos through branding, content, and strategy built for growth. Right inside our office, we’re also building Taurusroad Creative House, a boutique studio and event space where our community gathers, creates, and connects.

We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to own and grow the online presence for both brands. This is primarily an in-house role, with the potential to expand into client-facing work as Taurusroad grows. If you’re looking to grow with a company and eventually lead a broader book of work, this is it.

You’ll work closely with our founder and creative team to build content that reflects who we are, what we do, and why it matters.

What You'll Do

Own the social media presence for Taurusroad and Taurusroad Creative House across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok

Build and execute a content strategy for both brands — you develop the calendar, we refine it together

Create content end to end: writing, shooting, editing short-form video, and collaborating with our designer on graphic-heavy posts

Plan and coordinate content creation from ideation to execution

Schedule content using planning tools such as Metricool and Meta Business Suite

Develop, schedule, and send email marketing campaigns for both brands — including monthly newsletters, promotional blasts, and event announcements

Analyze social and email performance monthly and adjust strategy based on what the data is telling you

Stay ahead of trends and platform changes so both brands always feel current and intentional

What We're Looking For

2+ years in social media, content creation, or a related digital role

A strategic thinker who loves the execution. Equally comfortable building a plan and making it happen

Experienced shooting and editing short-form video for social

Comfortable collaborating with designers, photographers, and videographers

Organized, self-directed, and communicative. You manage your own work and stay ahead of deadlines

Genuinely interested in creative spaces, small business, and community

Comfortable coming into our downtown Jackson office regularly with flexibility to work remotely

Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required
