Overview
Salary Range: $147,175 - $167,475 per year. The above base pay range may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. The range listed is just one component of Wayfair’s total compensation package for employees. Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commissions and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a comprehensive suite of medical, financial and additional benefits.
This position is a hybrid in-office role that works out of our Boston HQ (Monday-Thursday in office and Friday work from home). This is not a virtual / remote position.

We are looking for a Senior Talent Business Partner (Senior Manager, HRBP) to support the Platforms, Services and Sales organization. Our Talent Business Partner team identifies, develops and implements projects and initiatives to staff, onboard, develop, motivate, assess, retain and organize talent to enable our high growth. We focus on strategic leadership, organizational design, and data-driven storytelling to inform stakeholders and invest in the right talent.
Who You Are
Proactive and uses good judgment when defining and executing plans against nuanced and highly confidential and complex situations, pivoting as needed.
Strong business acumen and customer focus with a sense of urgency and precise execution capabilities; able to set talent priorities 12–18–24 months in advance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple leaders and their teams, synthesize points of view, and own a strategic and flexible action plan.
Hypothesis-driven, comfortable diving deep into data, and able to translate findings to motivate leaders to take action.
Proven experience in executive coaching, influencing leaders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Consistently raises the bar, self-aware, curious, and continuously iterating to drive impact.
What You’ll Do
Partner with key Talent teams and business leaders to design and deliver execution strategies supporting broad change initiatives (e.g., optimizing organizational design, changing operating models, onboarding new leaders).
Coach functional partners across levels on managing performance feedback, leadership development, and conflict management within their teams.
Partner with central Talent partners, other Talent Business Partners, and stakeholders to develop and implement scalable talent solutions including compensation and development processes.
Provide guidance and advising on best practices to support managers in effectively managing, evaluating, and growing individual performance and development.
Advise on employee relations concerns by partnering with employees and managers to recommend effective, equitable, and scalable solutions.
Conduct investigations, provide timely responses, and determine solutions that mitigate risk and uphold legal compliance and equity.
Lead core analyses (e.g., employee voice surveys, deep-dives, listening sessions) to shape action planning that improves efficiency, customer outcomes, and revenue/cost metrics.
Amplify central Talent initiatives by gathering stakeholder feedback, cascading messages, and sharing insights on outcomes.
What You’ll Need
7+ years of experience in Human Resources as a HRBP or a direct business-facing support role.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field.
Experience supporting, coaching, and partnering with Director/VP level business stakeholders.
Experience leading and developing a direct team.
Preferred experience supporting corporate populations up to 500+ employees.
Ability to travel on average 10% of the time.
Advanced skills/experience with HRIS, Google Workspace.
AI usage of Gemini and Glean agent preferred but not required.
