Job Title: Product Manager – Digital Lending

Hybrid: 3 days a week

Location: Tysons Corner, VA

Role Overview
PenFed Credit Union is seeking a Product Manager to support digital lending initiatives, with a strong focus on auto and personal loan products. This role sits at the center of cross‑functional product delivery and is responsible for translating strategy into execution across digital product experiences.

The Product Manager will work closely with development, QA, analytics, UX/UI, design, research, and marketing teams, serving as the connective tissue between users, business goals, and product teams. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑moving Agile environment with multiple concurrent initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Partner closely with product leadership to define product strategy and roadmaps aligned to business and marketing goals

Work directly with Agile scrum teams to plan, prioritize, and execute product initiatives

Collaborate with development, QA, analytics, UX/UI, design, research, and external teams to deliver high‑quality digital products

Own backlog management and delivery within an Agile/Jira environment

Support ongoing digital campaigns related to auto loans and personal loans, ensuring product pages are optimized for conversion

Analyze product and user data to understand what is working, what is not, and inform future decisions

Work with UX/UI and research teams to gather feedback and improve user experience

Act as a bridge between users, product teams, and stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and momentum

Contribute to creating a positive, collaborative team environment across multiple disciplines

Required Experience & Skills

4–6 years of Product Management experience

Prior experience working as a Product Manager (not project‑only)

Hands‑on experience working with:

Development teams

QA

Analytics

Design / UX

Strong experience working in Agile methodologies using Jira

Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment

Strong collaboration and communication skills

Self‑starter mindset; comfortable taking ownership and driving work forward

Preferred / Nice To Have

Experience supporting loan products (auto, personal, or lending platforms strongly preferred)

Experience working closely with digital marketing teams

Comfort reviewing analytics and translating insights into product improvements

Background in consumer‑facing digital products or websites
