What You’ll Do
This position oversees and facilitates production operations for the assigned area. It includes managing production teams, coordinating production schedules, assigning responsibilities, preparing schedules, and coaching employees. The role also ensures optimum material and supply flow to keep production compliant with GMP and SQDC requirements.

How You’ll Do It

Review production schedules and estimate associate hours to complete a job assignment. Edit corresponding time‑attendance management systems. Interpret daily production schedules for associates and delegate duties.

Hold a daily cell meeting and set expectations for the day.

Facilitate the execution of the operational plan for the team to meet or exceed all quality and GMP requirements and guidelines. Participate in programs and committees. Initiate and/or suggest improvements to existing GMP guidelines.

Monitor key activities that drive KPIs (e.g., quality, safety, scrap) and identify daily production challenges, finding solutions to remove bottlenecks and working with associates to take corrective measures to ensure goals are met and production schedules are not disrupted.

Assist in identifying best practices and developing corresponding standardized work for operational sustainment. Recommend measures and changes to improve production, equipment, product quality, and working conditions.

Facilitate the acquisition, development, and performance of assigned direct reports as well as leadership succession planning within the assigned organization. Develop associates to improve and expand skills and bench strength.

Serve as a link between associates and management and support associates through changes.

What You’ll Bring

Associate’s degree in an applicable field and /or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. Experience using MRP/ERP.

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

Experience with Lean manufacturing principles, tools, and applications.

Applicable knowledge of performance‑management methods.

Demonstrated ability to identify and develop talent.

Demonstrated ability to employ process‑problem‑solving tools to determine root cause and implement countermeasures.

Demonstrated ability to manage conflict effectively.

Demonstrated ability to execute against production playbooks.

Effective oral and written communication skills.

The hiring salary range for this position applies where legally required and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
