Illustrator/Graphic Designer

Overview
Illustrator/Graphic Designer position in Retail in City of Industry, CA. Work with Senior Artist to develop unique and original textile prints and graphics for licensed fashion apparel.

Responsibilities

Work closely with our Senior Artist to develop unique and original textile prints and graphics for licensed fashion apparel.

Produce print ready repeats from licensed artwork, editing, recoloring and matching colors to Pantone standards.

Design and redesign badge graphics using Licensor assets.

Use Photoshop and Illustrator to prepare, modify, and resize artwork; collaborating with product development and design team to articulates printing and design techniques to factories.

Create original character illustrations for various licensed properties in a wide range of styles.

Requirements

Certification or education in graphic arts or illustration required.

3+ years of graphic design work experience in a wholesale/vertical business.

Expert in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Ability to hand draw or recreate artwork based on given style and techniques.

Comprehensive knowledge of construction and all creative techniques in relation to silk screening, embroidery, sublimation, embellishment, woven plaids and dying treatments.
