Role Description
Principal’s Daughter is seeking a freelance videographer/editor to collaborate on recurring short-form content rooted in interiors, atmosphere, luxury, and authored taste.

This is not a traditional “social media manager” role.

We are not looking for trend-driven content, influencer aesthetics, or generic luxury branding. The focus is on building an authored visual world centered around discernment, restraint, emotional environments, and the ways objects, spaces, rituals, and decisions shape a life.

The ideal collaborator understands cinematic pacing, texture, materiality, lighting, and emotional tone. You should be equally interested in fashion editorials, interiors, boutique hospitality, architecture, magazines, and cultural storytelling—not just algorithmic content production.

The role would involve coming to a private residence in San Francisco 1–2 times per month to shoot recurring vertical video content for Instagram and TikTok, then editing deliverables remotely.
