WIFR Channel 23 in Rockford, Illinois is seeking a Multimedia Sales Manager to join our team. As a Multimedia Sales Manager, you will work with sales staff to develop and execute multi‑platform campaigns and facilitate growth and revenue for digital media, including creating proposals, pricing, and packaging for Media Executives, and managing digital inventory and reports.

Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth to achieve revenue targets with a focus on new digital and local direct business

Provide digital and linear training to the sales team

Create and maintain professional relationships with potential and existing accounts

Assist with creating and maintaining budgets and quota goals

Assist with overseeing the sales team, presenting and closing business

Work directly with the Local Sales Manager

Ensure proper development of new and existing accounts

Work at a partnership/consultative level as an expert in digital advertising with a Multimedia Executive and advertisers

Create and implement new strategies to develop new business

Manage multiple projects

Handle scheduling problems in a timely manner, troubleshoot, and provide general follow‑through with clients

Maintain and continually improve knowledge of effective marketing principles

Contribute to the sales team through research and participation in sales meetings

Represent and support the station professionally, in policy and demeanor

Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

Associate or bachelor's degree preferred

Previous management experience and ability to lead a team

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional time‑management skills

Ability to adapt to the market

Exceptional critical‑thinking skills

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
