Overview
The Director of Global Creative Content is a highly creative, hands-on producer and storyteller tasked with developing and executing original content that supports Paramount Pictures’ global theatrical marketing campaigns. This role operates at the intersection of production, editorial, and marketing: creating compelling behind-the-scenes materials, featurettes, and custom content that bring each film’s story to life for audiences worldwide. The ideal candidate is a multi-hyphenate creative who thrives in a dynamic environment, can pivot across projects seamlessly, and is equally comfortable on set, crafting a narrative in the edit, and presenting ideas in a room.
Responsibilities
- Oversee behind-the-scenes content capture, working closely with filmmakers, cast, and crew to develop meaningful, story-driven moments throughout production
- Lead the development and execution of featurettes and short-form content pieces for global marketing campaigns, from concept through final delivery
- Collaborate with internal marketing, publicity, and creative teams to identify content needs and deliver assets that support campaign strategy
- Conceptualize original content ideas that go beyond traditional BTS, incorporating innovative formats and technologies
- Partner with editors to shape narrative-driven pieces with a robust point of view
- Produce specials and promotional pieces for broadcast and digital platforms
- Support custom shoots, including talent content days, music-driven content, audience reactions, event capture, etc.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining organization, clear communication, and attention to detail
- Present creative ideas, concepts, and work-in-progress materials clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders
- Assist in budgeting, vendor coordination, and overall production logistics
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in entertainment marketing/content
Additional Qualifications
- Ability to generate original, strategic creative ideas that support film marketing campaigns
- Proven experience producing and crafting entertainment content
- Robust storytelling instincts across multiple formats, with a solid understanding of editorial
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Confident communicator who can present ideas and creative work successfully in meetings
- Experience working with filmmakers, talent, and studio stakeholders
- Driven, forward-thinking, resourceful, and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats across production, creative development, and execution
